EVA mold has the following characteristics:
Water resistance: closed bubble structure, no water absorption, moisture, water resistance function is good;
Machinability: no joint, and easy to hot pressing, choice, gluing, laminating and other processing;
Shockproof action: high resilience and tension resistance, high tolerance, with good shockproof, buffer function;
Thermal insulation: Excellent thermal insulation, cold insulation and low temperature function, can withstand cold and exposure;
Sound insulation: closed bubble hole, sound insulation effect is good;
Corrosion resistance: Corrosion resistance to seawater, grease, acid, alkali and other chemicals, antibacterial, non-toxic, tasteless, pollution-free.
When the content of vinyl acetate in EVA mold is less than 20%, it can be used as plastic. EVA mold has good low temperature resistance function, its thermal differentiation temperature is low, about 230℃, with the increase of molecular weight. The softening point of EVA mold rises, the machinability and the appearance of plastic parts decline, but the strength increases, the impact resistance and the environmental stress cracking resistance progress, the chemical resistance and oil resistance of EVA is slightly worse than that of PE and PVC, and with the increase of vinyl acetate content, the changes are more obvious. Therefore, the color difference of EVA mold does not need special treatment.
